研究内容

病原体ゲノムの網羅解析を行い、病原体の進化に関する研究を行っています。また、ゲノム解析技術とバイオインフォマティクス技術を応用して、呼吸器ウイルスや下痢症ウイルス感染症の感染源の解明や流行予測に関する研究も行っています。さらに、ウイルス感染症の重症化の機構解明やウイルス検査法の開発に関する研究も行っています。
